THE NEW CATEGORIES OF VISAS IN PANAMA, ACCORDING TO THE NEW MIGRATORY LEGISLATION (DECREE-LAW 3 OF 2008) AND REGULATED THROUGH EXECUTIVE DECREE No. 320 of August 8, 2008

Decree Law 3 of February 22, 2008.

It sets forth the regulation of migratory movements of entrances and departures of nationals and foreigners, the conditions to obtain visas to enter the country and the stay of the latter in national territory; as well as the requisites and procedures to acquire Panamanian nationality by means of naturalization, among other things.

This legislation organized the migratory system, according to migratory categories and within these categories it included visas, as well as the requisites and duration of each visa.
